Host/cashier

Downtown Guelph’s leading casual dining restaurant is looking for a Host/Hostess with an enthusiastic, upbeat, and bubbly personality to join our growing team

Smart Serve Certification is required.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Provide excellent hospitality and guest services
- Manage guest relations and ensure customer satisfaction
- Seat guests and manage table availability
- Take reservations over the phone and through online platforms
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized host station
- Assist servers and bussers as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
