**Career Nanny/House Manager required that has experience with school-aged children - VGH area**

Starting as soon as they find the best match, a great family of 5 who has recently moved back from living in the East for many years are seeking a great long-term nanny for their 3 school-aged children (11, 8 & 5yrs). Both parents have hectic work schedules and require assistance with their day-to-day. Helping them create stability, routine and peace on a daily basis is key

They are for looking for someone who is patient, kind, organized, and can take initiative. They had a lovely nanny for the past 5 years before they moved out west and are hoping for another great connection. Someone who has experience with school-aged kids and tweens, who is attentive, energetic, full of ideas, setting routines and improving home life for the kids. They want someone that can really connect with the children at their level and help gain their trust

The family can be flexible so please when you are applying, let us know what your ideal schedule looks like

As a household manager, they require someone that can work 30-33hrs a week Monday - Friday 12pm - 7pm (5pm on Fridays) and help with childcare when the kids are home, household management such as family laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, assisting with letting in trades/cleaners and organization. Someone that is willing and able to keep the children's schedules running smoothly, take them to activities and pick up from school. Having a house with school-aged children often means different moods on different days and the perfect person will have patience, warmth and a thick skin
They value the importance of their children learning to help with unpacking their backpacks, cleaning up after themselves, folding their own laundry and getting their homework done. The children like to bake and cook, so someone that can incorporate that into routines would be a big bonus

They can accommodate fewer or more hours : after school hours (2-7pm for example), where the main focus is the children, organizing and light housekeeping. If you are looking for full-time, they can offer the same role at 40hrs a week but full cleaning will be required.

Please note that they will require someone to be able to work full days on PD days and during school breaks.

Driving is required, and a vehicle is provided for working hours.
