Counselling Team Lead

The Family Wellness Program is a voluntary, community-based program designed to assist families in overcoming challenges and building skills necessary to ensure a safe, healthy and resilient home.
The Family School Liaison Program is offered in partnership with Aspen View Public Schools and is a preventive program designed to meet the social and emotional needs of children and youth.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Direct supervision of Family Wellness and Family School Liaison Program staff.
- Staff performance management and evaluation.
- Monitoring of program planning, delivery (including file audits), evaluation, and reporting to meet contract and grant requirements.
- Participation on FCSS Supervisory Team.
- Participation on various community committees/coalitions promoting community wellness.
- Participation in Emergency Social Services as part of municipal employee role.
- Other duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- Degree or Diploma in Social Work or Human Services is required.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
- High degree of commitment, reliability, and personal initiative with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and carry out responsibilities with mínimal direction.
- Ability to collaborate with individuals, groups, and agencies to respond to issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite
- A clear Criminal Record/Vulnerable Population Check from the RCMP and a Child Intervention Record Check from Children and Family Services.
- Valid driver’s license
- Applicant must have a reliable vehicle with business insurance as this position involves travelling to outlying communities.

**Salary**: $77,493.00-$87,412.00 per year
