Job Position: Kitchen Helper

**Job Type**: Two-year Contract, Full-time

Hourly Wage: $16.5

Work Hour: 40 hours/week.

Work Location: Suite 0107, 5102 50 Avenue, Yellowknife, NT, X1A 2N6.

Language Requirement: English

C & H Holding Ltd. (Mark’s Restaurant) is an Asian restaurant with incredible selections of traditional Chinese food. We offer a great time for people, and our delicious buffet is the reason why people keep coming back for more.

Now, we are looking for a full-time **Kitchen Helper **to join us.

**Job Duties**:

- Prepare meal ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting and slicing ingredients.
- Washing and cleaning worktables, cupboards, dishes, utensils, and other cooking appliances to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Neatly put all cooking appliances in the appropriate places.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as required.
- Remove trash, replace garbage bags, and wash garbage containers.
- Assist kitchen staff in unloading food supplies from delivery trucks.
- Unpack and store ingredients and food items in appropriate storage areas according to food safety standards.
- Packing take-out orders as needed.
- Assist cook and kitchen staff in other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, including the physical ability to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen.
- Superior multitasking and time management skills.
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills,
- Reliable, positive, and hardworking.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
