We are seeking a dependable and flexible Relief Flagger to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide coverage for active Flaggers during their lunch breaks at various job sites in the Edmonton area (either North or South locations). This position ensures continuous traffic control and safety at each construction site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Travel to different construction sites within the Edmonton area to relieve active Flaggers during their lunch breaks.
- Direct and control traffic flow in and around construction sites.
- Communicate effectively with other flaggers, construction workers, and the public.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Monitor traffic and make adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth flow.
- Report any safety hazards or traffic issues to the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Must have personal protective equipment, including a hi-vis jacket, hi-vis trousers, and a yellow hard hat.
- Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to various job sites within the Edmonton area.
- Previous experience as a flagger or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to travel and adjust to different job site environments.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 26 per week

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
