**Job Description**:
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e., chemical engineering, green engineering, environmental science/engineering)

+ 5+ years of intermediate-level experience in GHG Canadian regulatory inventory quantification and/or verification

+ 2+ years of direct experience with GHG accounting standards (such as the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) and supporting corporate emissions management

+ Previous experience working as a technical consultant

+ Proven ability to lead projects and small technical teams

+ Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting, presentations, and proposal contributions

**Preferred Qualifications**:
+ Experience conducting Scope 3 value chain GHG assessments (screening level and detailed quantification)

+ Progressing towards a professional engineering designation (P.Eng.)

+ Knowledge of energy efficiency, GHG management, and decarbonization mechanisms and technologies

+ Familiarity with emissions-reduction target setting approaches, including the Science-based Target Initiative

+ Direct experience in supporting emissions management within the oil and gas (upstream and midstream) and energy/utilities sectors

+ Understanding of low carbon technologies, renewable energy, and emerging technologies such as CCUS, hydrogen, etc.

+ Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as TCFD, CDP, GRI, SASB, and others

+ Experience in GHG emission reduction initiatives and defining decarbonization strategies with cost/benefit analysis

+ Experience with mobile emission sources (e.g., cars, trucks, construction/mining equipment, etc.)

+ Independent research and analytical skills with a keen interest in staying updated on new standards, certifications, and technologies

**Additional Assets**:
+ ISO 14064-1, 14064-2, and/or 14064-3 certification

+ Understanding of embodied carbon modeling

+ Experience in conducting life cycle assessments with a focus on carbon

+ Familiarity with climate and ESG disclosure

+ Knowledge and experience with the carbon offset market
