**JOB SUMMARY**
Responsible for the development and day to day operations and management of the Building Operations Technician Program including program development, implementation, instruction, facilitation and learner support.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**
- Assist in the development of curriculum, preparation of course materials, instructional materials and evaluation tools.
- Deliver lesson plans/activities/mark and assess student work using a systematic plan of lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, labs, and field studies.
- Review and update course outlines, textbooks, and course documents as applicable.
- Determine individual student learning needs and supports.
- Evaluate and assess student progress and discuss results with students and program management.
- Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and instructor training workshops.
- Communicate, coordinate and work collaboratively with other departments of CAHRD and external stakeholders.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary educations and/or a combination of relevant training and experience.
- Industry experience.
- Valid Manitoba’s driver’s license (access to a reliable vehicle is considered an asset).
- CAHRD requires all of its employees be fully vaccinated against Covid-19; proof of vaccination is required prior to signing of employment contract.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- Proven ability and experience in relating to and working with the Indigenous community.
- Ability to work effectively with participants, co-workers and supervisors.
- Strong project management skills; including, creating, planning and implementing program outcomes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experienced in facilitating workshops and training.
- Ability to work independently.
- Leadership skills.
