Le superviseur du compositing sera chargé d'aider à valoriser les compétences artistiques et techniques des artistes de l'éclairage/du compositing et des artistes DMP (Peintre des Décors Numériques) du département, ainsi que de faire évoluer notre modèle de travail dans le département compositing existant afin qu'il soit prêt pour nos prochains films. Travaillant en étroite collaboration avec le superviseur de l'éclairage, il/elle fournira des conseils artistiques et techniques pour aider les artistes à obtenir l'aspect final du compositing de chaque plan. Il/elle sera responsable du développement d'un programme de formation afin d'enseigner correctement aux artistes les concepts de base et avancés du compositing dans Nuke.

**Responsibilities**
- Communiquer efficacement avec le chef du département LRC ( Lighting, Rendu et Composting), le superviseur de l'éclairage et la production sur le statut, la résolution des problèmes, le soutien technique et artistique.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le chef du département LRC pour évaluer et optimiser un modèle de compositing pour les longs métrages d'animation afin qu'il puisse être utilisé efficacement dans les projets actuels et futurs.
- Travailler avec l'équipe de Pipeline pour déterminer et développer les outils nécessaires à la réalisation du travail technique et artistique requis pour les projets en cours et futurs.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le responsable du LookDev, les artistes de compositing et les artistes d'éclairage/compositing expérimentés pour développer des techniques nécessaires à la réalisation la plus fidèle du projet.
- Collaborer étroitement avec le superviseur de l'éclairage et l'équipe de production pour assigner les artistes adéquats aux plans de compositing complexes.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le superviseur de l'éclairage et et individuellement avec les artistes pour s'assurer que la direction artistique du projet est respectée dans la production des images finales.
- Évaluer les compétences en compositing des artistes de l'éclairage/du compositing et du DMP afin de déterminer les domaines de formation nécessaires. Travailler avec le chef du département LRC pour développer un programme adapté afin d'enseigner aux artistes les compétences souhaitées.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le DMP pour s'assurer que leur processus de compositing dans Nuke est conforme aux bonnes " pratiques " afin qu'il puisse être facilement utilisé pendant la phase de compositing d'un plan.
- Travailler avec le chef du département LRC pour développer et optimiser les livrables finaux (y compris les mattes DI et les composants nécessaires pour la stéréo et d'autres demandes du client).

**Qualifications**:

- 3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire ou dans la supervision d'équipes techniques et artistiques de compositeurs dans l'industrie des effets visuels.
- Solide expérience du compositing pour les longs métrages, y compris l'utilisation des principes fondamentaux et avancés de la correction de couleurs, du "deep compositing" et de la 2D ainsi que des techniques 3D telles que les projections et les systèmes de particules.
- Oeil aiguisé pour l'esthétique, avec un intérêt particulier pour la lumière, la couleur et la composition.
- Expérience de la supervision de plans jusqu'à l'exécution finale.
- Expérience en supervision, mentorat et formation.
- Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite (anglais).
- Fort dynamisme, motivation et capacité à encourager ses collègues dans un environnement où les attentes sont élevées.
- Capacité à collaborer efficacement avec le superviseur de l'éclairage pour gérer techniquement et artistiquement une équipe d'artistes commune.
- Expertise dans Nuke.
- Expérience avec le système d'exploitation Linux.
- Expérience dans le développement de NPR (Non Photoreal Rendering), l'intégration de médias mixtes (rendus CG, graphismes 2D, les plans tournés avec des caméras. etc.) est un atout.
