**Nature & Scope**:
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Fitness, the Aqua Fitness Instructor is

responsible for providing safe, quality instruction to meet the needs of
Members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for members and guests- Ensure a safe environment for members and guests by routinely checking
- any equipment and keeping areas clean and well maintained- Ensure classes start on time and using approved music

**Qualifications**:

- Criminal Reference Check (CPIC) including Vulnerable Sector Check

completed not more than 120 days prior to date of hire, with results
- acceptable to the YMCA of Eastern Ontario- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Current Aqua Fitness Instructor Certification
