The role we are offering you:

- Responsible for project initiation from when the contract is obtained until the project is created in ERP.
- Distribute the project budget.
- Define the initial project plan.
- Work with project team members as a project planning specialist.
- Manage the planning process and the tools as well as their deployment and use.
- Recommend policies and procedures regarding work distribution structure and schedule development. Suggest improvements.
- Develop a project file, including creating a master schedule and planning resources in accordance with best practices.
- Improve the progress of the work and review information in order to define problems and make planning recommendations. This includes analyzing gaps between actual/scheduled time and the money spent for a given project.
- Develop schedules for a project team or a team tasked with a proposal regarding strategic contracts or bids that include complex or multiple mechanisms.
- College diploma or university degree in administration or in another technical field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience in project planning and monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Autonomy.
- Relevant experience in an industrial environment.
- Organized and structured.
- Accurate and precise.
- Good team player.
- Interpersonal skills; ability to negotiate.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Process management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple one-off projects that have tight deadlines.
- Experience in program management, MS Project, and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment an asset.
- Ability to communicate with customers.
- Innovation, creativity, responsibility.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimum supervision and assistance.
- Bilingualism (French and English) essential.
- CAPM or PMP an asset.
