Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Fabricate and install new equipment as needed
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance history
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external vendors
- Assist with planning and executing preventive maintenance programs

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership abilities, able to supervise a team of technicians
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Knowledge of SQF (Safe Quality Food Program)
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Knowledge and experience of Industrial process controls
- Able to read and iterpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, P&ID and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
- Computer Literate, Microsoft Office.
- Work experience in the food manufacturing field.
- Ability to drive forklift and scissor lift

Education/Training required: Bachelor of science in electronics and communication engineering, Class 5 drivers license, First Aid/CPR, HACCP, AIB, forklift, Compressed Air, Industrial Motor control, Basic Hydraulic Systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
