**Status**: Permanent
**Schedule**: 14 on / 14 off - 12 hours per day
**Responsibilities**:
The Conductor performs the following tasks:
- Understand and comply with all rules, regulations, safety procedures and standards from the company and several government agencies, including Transport Canada.
- Safely manage, control, and communicate the movements of the train and railcars using radio and by written authorization.
- In all weather conditions, manually operate track switches, apply, and release handbrakes, connect hoses, and perform safety inspections.
- Read, interpret, and execute work lists.
- Prepare required daily reports, both manually and/or electronically.
- Successfully perform job briefings before and during duty and interacts effectively with the railway authorities.
- Other related tasks.
**General Requirements**:
- Must possess a high school diploma.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Is or has recently been a qualified railway conductor.
- Must be prepared to work in adverse weather conditions.
- During the 14-day work cycle, must be prepared to work on call on a 24hour basis.
**Other working conditions**: Vacation, benefits and paid holidays are based on the company’s policies.

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$103,354.92 per year
