We are very passionate about our community As our team grows, we are excited to recruit for an HRIS Administrator to support the advancement and development of our Human Resources software and systems which in turn makes you part of the success of our rapidly growing Municipality. This is an hourly position equivalent to a.7 FTE or a maximum of 24 hours per week.

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will be responsible for the administration and ensuring the effective use of human resources software. This role is a key contributor in the success of the HR department’s excellent customer service delivery.

**As the HRIS Administrator, you will**:

- Participate in defining system requirements, testing, and deploying solutions.
- Ensure there is a match between solutions and organizational system needs.
- Responsible for ensuring data quality and creating reports.
- Resolve system issues and provides guidance to end users.
- Involved in improving the system through eliciting requirements, creating and running test scripts, and assisting in the implementation of new solutions as required.
- Review and analyze system functionality and provide recommendations for improvements, documenting any implemented changes.
- Ensure continued improvement and functionality of existing HRIS through the deployment of additional features and modules that meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Provide user support through documentation, developing and facilitating training, and creating supporting materials. Improvement in the ability of users to leverage features of the HRIS.
- Ensure Human Resources software solutions are in accordance with corporate, legislative and FOIP requirements.

If many of the following characteristics and skills describe you, we want to meet you
- One to three years’ administrative experience.
- Minimum one year experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and database administration. Ceridian Dayforce HCM is preferred.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is required.
- Experience supporting human resources within a unionized environment is an asset.
- Working knowledge of the public sector is an asset.
- Strong data management skills.
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and uses
- Strong process improvement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to administer a database, including understanding data relationships and supporting related software updates and new implementations.
- Experience and ability to work with and understand XML.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactive manner to anticipate needs of the human resources team and organization.
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
- Project Management skills.
