Pipefitter

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Pipefitter role at Maritime Pressure Works Limited. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and maintaining pipes and pipe systems. This role is based out of Dartmouth & Springhill NS, but will have opportunity for onsite work throughout the Maritimes. Maritime Pressure has multiple open positions for shop & road opportunities. We offer a wage of $40/hr. for Red Seal Pipefitters with options for hourly uplifts for Dual Tickets with Red Seals & additional hourly uplifts for remote projects of $5.00/hr.

**Qualifications**
- Pipefitting skills
- Experience with Steam systems
- Ability to read and interpret piping and instrument drawings
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, additional certification in Pipefitting or Welding is preferred
- Experience with pipe cutting and threading equipment and tools

Relevant experience in the boiler and pressure vessel industry is a plus. As this role involves travel to client locations, a valid driver's license is required

**Salary**: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
