Financial Controller

**Salary Range**: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
**About Us**:
**Position Overview**:
As a Controller at Kizos Culture, you will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of our organization. This role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid work environment, with occasional on-site visits required for onboarding, team meetings, and other essential activities.
Bilingualism in English and French is an asset but not a requirement. Your expertise in CPG or similar industries will be highly valued as you help steer our financial strategy.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement financial risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and interests.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations.
- Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA designation is a plus).
- Proven experience in a Controller or similar finance leadership role.
- Experience in the cannabis industry or other consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors is an asset.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and/or hybrid work environment (Location: Becancour, QC).

**Aperçu du poste**:
En tant que contrôleur chez Kizos Culture, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans la gestion des opérations financières de notre organisation. Ce rôle peut être joué à distance ou dans un environnement de travail hybride, avec des visites occasionnelles sur place nécessaires pour l’intégration, les réunions d’équipe et d’autres activités essentielles.
Le bilinguisme en français et en anglais est un atout, mais pas une exigence. Votre expertise dans les CPG ou des industries similaires sera très appréciée car vous aidez à orienter notre stratégie financière.
**Principales responsabilités**:
- Gestion financière : Superviser tous les aspects financiers de l’entreprise, y compris la budgétisation, les prévisions et l’analyse financière.
- Rapports financiers : Préparer et présenter des rapports financiers, y compris des états des résultats, des bilans et des états des flux de trésorerie.
- Comptabilité : Gérer les opérations comptables quotidiennes, en veillant à l’exactitude et à la conformité aux exigences réglementaires.
- Leadership de l’équipe : Superviser et encadrer l’équipe des finances, favorisant ainsi une culture de croissance et de développement.
- Gestion des risques : Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de gestion des risques financiers pour protéger les actifs et les intérêts de l’entreprise.
