**Landscape Labourer (Seasonal)**

Shamrock Landscaping is a landscape construction company located in Cornwall, Ontario that specializes in detail-oriented and aesthetic residential paver and retaining wall installations. The company is experiencing growth and is currently seeking a Landscape Labourer to join the team.

In this position, you will assist with the excavation, preparation, and installation of residential projects, such as paver walkways, patios, and driveways, as well as retaining walls, steps, and flowerbeds. Main duties will consist of digging with a shovel, using a wheelbarrow, hauling and installing brick and block materials, and operating small equipment such as saws and plate packers.

**Requirements**:

- Have previous landscape construction experience and or relevant educational background
- Have experience with operating landscape construction tools (packers, concrete saws, etc.)
- Have a strong work ethic and a passion for landscaping
- Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in seeing the results of your work
- Take initiative to complete tasks
- Enjoy working independently and in a small-team environment
- Possess professional communication and customer service skills
- Possess a valid Ontario driver's license and own vehicle

**Terms of Employment**
- Seasonal: May to approximately mid-November
- Monday-Friday - 35-45 hours per week

**Compensation**:
**Other information**
- Must possess own steel-toe work boots
- Must possess valid Ontario driver's license, own vehicle, and be able to transport oneself to job sites in Cornwall and SDG.
- Completion of high school diploma required
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Due to the residential nature of the work and our clientele, a background check may be required to complete the hiring process
