**Overview**:

**Duties**
- Ships and receives goods and keeps required records.
- Verify and take samples of incoming materials upon reception.
- Inspects goods and trucks upon material receipt and shipment to ensure compliance with established requirements.
- Assembles customer orders according to itemized listings and prepares orders for shipment according to established requirements.
- Compares quantity and identification numbers of goods against orders to ensure accuracy.
- Warehouses goods while respecting the unique storage requirements of some products such as the need to be kept frozen, refrigerated and segregated from other products.
- Respects stock rotation and utilization of required goods in lot and batch controlled environment.
- Operates forklift trucks in manufacturing departments as well as in warehouse areas and aisles.
- Responds to requests for raw & packaging materials from Packaging and Production department personnel.
- Secures skid loads with required wrapping, strapping and affixes required labels or identification marks.
- Arranges for shipment of goods by contacting outside carriers.
- Observes company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Washes forklift trucks using water and detergent.
- Cleans Warehouse floors, racks and washroom using water and detergent.
- Replaces other positions when required as identified on the Organigramme | Organizational chart

**Main challenge**

To pick, without errors, finished goods and identify erroneous work orders that need to be corrected.

**Job Specifications Education required**

This position requires a High School diploma and a valid Class 1 forklift training certificate. Experience on a Linde, electric, sit-down, fork-lift would be an asset.

**Fonctions**
- Expédie et reçoit les marchandises et tient les registres nécessaires.
- Vérifier et prélever des échantillons des matériaux entrants à la réception.
- Inspecte les marchandises et les camions à la réception et à l'expédition pour s'assurer qu'ils sont conformes aux exigences établies.
- Assemble les commandes des clients en fonction des listes détaillées et prépare les commandes pour l'expédition conformément aux exigences établies.
- Compare la quantité et les numéros d'identification des marchandises avec les commandes pour s'assurer de leur exactitude.
- Entrepose les marchandises en respectant les exigences particulières de stockage de certains produits tels que la nécessité de les conserver congelés, réfrigérés et séparés des autres produits.
- Respecter la rotation des stocks et l'utilisation des marchandises requises dans un environnement contrôlé par lots.
- Conduire des chariots élévateurs dans les départements de fabrication ainsi que dans les zones et les allées de l'entrepôt.
- Répond aux demandes de matières premières et de matériaux d'emballage émanant du personnel des services d'emballage et de production.
- Sécurise les chargements sur patins à l'aide de l'emballage et du cerclage requis et appose les étiquettes ou les marques d'identification nécessaires.
- Organise l'expédition des marchandises en contactant les transporteurs extérieurs.
- Respecter les politiques de l'entreprise et les bonnes pratiques de fabrication.
- Nettoie les chariots élévateurs à l'aide d'eau et de détergent.
- Nettoie les sols de l'entrepôt, les rayonnages et les toilettes avec de l'eau et du détergent.
- Remplacer d'autres postes en cas de besoin, comme indiqué dans l'organigramme.

**Défi principal**

Préparer, sans erreur, les produits finis et identifier les ordres de travail erronés qui doivent être corrigés.

**Caractéristiques du poste Formation requise**

Ce poste requiert un diplôme d'études secondaires et un certificat de formation valide pour chariot élévateur à fourche de classe 1. Une expérience sur un chariot élévateur Linde, électrique, assis, serait un atout.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
