Oxford Homes is a custom homebuilder that is building in and around the Saskatoon area. As we continue to grow and expand into new communities, we find the need to strengthen our team with the addition of a Site Supervisor. Our clients appreciate the attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship that we provide in our work as we strive to provide them with the home of their dreams.

We are looking for someone responsible and self-motivated, with the necessary understanding of building codes, municipal bylaws safety codes, as well as residential construction. They will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining the progress of the projects to ensure that they remain on schedule. Additionally, they must also have the ability to shift from one task to another as required.

Job Requirements:

- Previous experience in managing construction projects would be an asset
- Minimum 3years of experience in the construction industry
- Ability to analyze and understand construction plans
- An understanding of construction codes and city bylaws
- Basic handyman skills
- Valid drivers license
- An understanding of safety guidelines and standards for construction sites

**Tasks**:

- Planning, scheduling, and organizing the flow of the construction projects while maintaining the timeline and the budget
- Ability to think critically and make independent decisions
- Be knowledgeable of, and maintain the safety requirements of the construction sites
- Conduct daily site visits to ensure that work is progressing as expected
- Schedule and supervise the work of the subcontractors by clearly communicating expectations and providing oversight
- Reading and understanding plans and project specifications
- Solving problems, and communicating
- Ensure that the materials are on site as needed for the work to proceed efficiently. This would require delivering some materials to the job site
- Monitor and maintain the quality of the work being completed
- Basic handyman duties to keep the project on schedule
- Schedule and attend city inspections and ensure any deficiencies are resolved
- Maintain the progress of multiple sites across the city
- Maintain the cleanliness of the construction sites
- Obtain, review, and obtain approval on quotes for work on the project
- Delegating and directing service tasks and ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
