**Temporary Full Time Supervisor Until March 2024**

**The Burnaby Association for Community Inclusion **provides a range of supports and services to people with developmental disabilities. Our Community Inclusion services is looking for a supervisor to oversee a community inclusion program specializing in senior supports. Supervisors at BACI oversee a team, leading and coaching staff and working directly with participants to ensure a good life for the people who receive supports in the community. This is a temporary full time position until March 2024 or until the incumbent returns. The starting rate is $28.39.

Temporary Full-Time ( until the incumbent returns ).
Starting Rate: $28.39

Monday - Friday flexibility required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support people served to identify the goals which will move them on the path to lead their ideal life.
- Create and maintain support plans.
- Coach staff to understand and implement the principles of person-centred thinking. doing.
- Coach staff on implementing goals and measuring progress.
- Work collaboratively with staff, families, people supported, professionals and community members.
- Manage a staff team which includes training and evaluating staff performance, as well as ensuring a positive workplace dynamic.
- Compliance with BACI Policies and Procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years in direct support in Community Living..
- Previous experience in a supervisory position..
- Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in Human Services or related field. An equivalent of education and experience will be considered.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and use of personal vehicle required.
- This position requires First Aid, TB screen/ self-assessment, Vaccination status disclosure including COVID-19 Vaccination.
