Our Fort St. John branch has an opportunity for you join the team The Materials Management Technician will join a dedicated team delivering premiere customer service. This position will carry out a variety of tasks related to all aspects of Warehousing and Inventory Management:

- Receive, manage inventory, create material requisitions and request for materials in SAP system.
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
- Issue materials/goods out.
- Goods receipts of material.
- Assist with cycle counting of physical inventory.
- Will be involved in material identification (assign DNOW SKU’s) and system integration support.
- Sort and place materials/goods on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
- Transport goods to site in pick-up truck.
- Ensure strong communication within the company.
- Maintain general housekeeping of warehouse area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**What will you do?**
- Ability to operate required equipment (forklift) in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that tasks are completed properly.
- Be an effective team player, and able to work independently, along with the willingness to take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.
- This position is overtime eligible; OT may be requested.
- This full-time position is based at our customer work site (three different sites)

**What will you bring?**
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Previous warehouse and/or inventory management experience.
- Previous experience working in SAP system is desirable.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug, alcohol, and fitness to work).
- Travel: Drive in/out to site, vehicle will be provided.
