General Responsibilities:

- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Prep event menus for buffets, family style and plated dinners
- Pack food for transportation
- Integrate with our team and work environment
- Organize and maintain freezers, fridges, event equipment and storage
- Maintenance and cleaning of all equipment and work spaces
- Offsite event work
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years experience as a cook or culinary school training
- FoodSafe level 1
- Legal to work in Canada (minimum 2 years on work permit)

Edge Catering us currently hiring for full time and part time positions for the busy season. This position will be during the months of November until December when production is ramping up and shifts is based on an 8hrs shift which may includes weekend work. Start times may include some morning 7am and afternoon 1pm shifts.

This opportunity offers the potential for you to fulfill the role of an offsite Event Chef. This position operates on a voluntary basis, providing the flexibility for you to undertake additional shifts as desired. Gratuities will be included for any offsite event work being done.

Overtime pay for any hours worked beyond the standard work week will be paid in accordance with the employment regulations set forth by the BC Employment Standards Act.
