Parts Manager/parts Person

We are seeking an Experienced Parts Manager that will bring knowledge, leadership, and positivity to our team. Someone who is ready to build a long-term career and play a key role in the management and growth of the parts department and our business as a whole.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a parts management role, preferably in compact equipment.
- Parts Red Seal Certificate is an asset
- Valid BC drivers’ license
- Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs
- Knowledge of parts and warehouse procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational, analytical, administrative and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of customers and offer appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
**Responsibilities**:
- Accountable for managing all aspects of parts inventory and parts personnel.
- Forecast parts need and order parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze sales, expenses and inventory to maintain profit goals.
- Receive parts, including placing them in inventory and properly labeling them.
- Coordinate a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork.
- Work with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
- Work with the Sales Department to maximize cross marketing opportunities.
- Analyze departmental operations and storage layout and revise as needed for maximum effectiveness.
- Overseeing special orders and help customers find and purchase the correct parts.
- Maintain a high-performance parts team through hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Initiate housekeeping, safety and security procedures that result in a safe and attractive working environment.
- Prepare for and participate in meetings with management and other departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
