Auto Parts Specialist

Our Port Perry, ON location is currently recruiting for a full-time Auto Parts Specialist. Auto Parts Specialists are responsible for sales in our stores, both over the phone and in-person. As Auto Parts Specialists are the primary point of contact with our customers, they are expected to represent the Company with exceptional customer service at all times.
As a member of our team the Auto Parts Specialist will advise customers, handle payments, answer the Company phone in a prompt and courteous manner, and will also:
- Welcome all customers upon arrival and offer assistance/knowledge
- Resolve any customer concerns/complaints professionally and effectively
- Keep record of lost sales
- Process returns/exchanges of merchandise
- Pre-bill all transfers and orders
- Update the Store Manager of any problems with regards to store or customer related matters
- Order parts from suppliers
- Other duties as required
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories (an asset)
- Knowledge of tools and equipment (an asset)
- Previous experience in sales
- Previous experience in automotive sales (an asset)
- Automotive skills (an asset)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Confidence and aptitude to operate independently and unsupervised
- Experience working in a team-based environment
- Outstanding time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities professionally and effectively
- Availability to work rotating Saturdays
