As a supervisor you will co-ordinate the tasks and workflow of SMT Material Handling, SMT Setup, and Cycle Count teams. You will collaborate with stakeholders in the following areas: Production, Planning, and Purchasing teams to fulfill the manufacturing demands. Create strategic solutions to improve material flow and integrate the supply chain into existing operations. Participate in ERP integration process and ensure that all functions of the operation are performed in a manner consistent with company procedures and objectives. This position is located in our Manufacturing facility in Iroquois, Ontario.

**What the job is all about**:

- Ensure prompt and accurate updating of the inventory tracking systems
- Create and maintain detailed reports on inventory accuracy and material usage
- Retain a concept of exceeding the KPI goals and expectations
- Create cross-training and functional work plans to ensure that base staffing will meet all production demands
- Work closely with all departments to coordinate effective scheduling of personnel
- Comply with Quality system requirements as related to supervisory duties
- Requires direct supervision of work cells
- Responsible for compliance of safety standards according to company policies
- Manage by example displaying the ROSS Code of Ethics
- Implement and follow company policies and procedures
- Provide feedback to managers regarding technical or employee issues
- Participate in all aspects of the recruitment process
- Complete quarterly 1:1’s, conduct Performance Reviews, and participate in Compensation Planning
- We offer a concise training plan to all our new hires, working with our in house Training Department

**Who you are**:

- Overall good computer skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel; Access is an asset
- Demonstrated experience with MRP systems, both operations and implementation
- Community College Diploma or equivalent work experience
