Flag Football Coach

**1. Instruction and Coaching**:

- Teach fundamental skills
- Provide instruction tailored to various skill levels, from beginner to advanced players.
- Organize drills and activities to improve technique, strategy, and game understanding.
- Offer constructive feedback to campers to help them improve their skills.

**2. Program Development**:

- Collaborate with camp directors and fellow instructors to develop engaging and age-appropriate programs.
- Create lesson plans and activity schedules that align with camp objectives and curriculum standards.
- Continuously assess and adjust the program to meet the needs and interests of campers.

**3. Safety and Supervision**:

- Ensure the safety of campers during all soccer activities, adhering to established safety protocols.
- Supervise campers during practice sessions, games, and recreational periods to maintain a safe and positive environment.

**4. Mentorship and Leadership**:

- Serve as a positive role model for campers, demonstrating sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where campers feel encouraged to challenge themselves and improve.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to campers interested in pursuing football beyond the camp setting.

**5. Communication and Collaboration**:

- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members regarding schedules, expectations, and camper progress.
- Collaborate with other camp staff to coordinate multi-disciplinary activities and ensure a well-rounded camp experience.

**6. Equipment Management**:

- Must be able to bring flag football equipment that you will need during your coaching

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience playing and/or coaching flag football, preferably at the collegiate level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with campers of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain certification prior to the start of camp).
- Passion for working with youth and fostering their personal growth through sports..

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach players how to practice.
- Coach a group of 10-15 football players
- Plan and teach practices.
- Coach in games.
- Evaluate players' skills and weaknesses.
- Keep up with research on how to improve player's skills.
- Develop defensive, offensive, and special tactics for individual players.
- Identify the strengths of each player.
- Create a detailed plan for the week
- Create a schedule for the camp from 9am-4pm

**Dates (Must be available for both weeks)**:

- **Summer Camp**:

- July 15 - 19
- August 12 - 16

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
