**What you’ll do**
- Provide general reference and in-depth information and literature search services for clinical teams and other leadership and administrative groups across PHSA in support of research, clinical practice, governance, teaching and publishing.
- Evaluate library resources with respect to client needs by maintaining and analyzing service and resource usage statistics, reviewing feedback to determine opportunities for improvement and making materials recommendations and/or selection decisions.
- Participate in the planning and development of the PHSA Library Services and its short and long-range goals and objectives to ensure that the library supports the larger goals, policies and strategic vision of the health authority as well as program-specific needs.
- Consult on research methods, citation management and online searching and recommends clinical resources and information to programs/professional initiatives to support evidence-based practice. Collaborates on, or leads where appropriate, in relevant research or information projects.
- Develop and deliver formal and informal education on the research process and evidence access, searching, evaluation and use through instructional workshops, print and online materials, and via multimedia Learning Hub courses for remote learning.
**What you bring**
- Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited Library School

- Demonstrate commitment to customer service.
- Organize work and determine priorities within a complex health information environment.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
You have:
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
- Knowledge of social, economic, political and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism and accompanying reports (BC DRIPA, TRC, etc.).
