We are looking for a dependable, team player, that is organized, with excellent written/oral communication skills. You will be responsible for set-up, operation, and general maintenance of a machine, used to fabricate laminates, papers and films. Additional responsibilities will include quality control, completing work order paperwork, and keeping your work area clean and organized. Experience as an operator is an asset, but not mandatory (training will be provided). This position is for our day shift; Monday-Friday (7:00am-3:30pm).

**Duties**:

- Operate and maintain slitting machinery to fabricate materials according to specifications
- Set up and adjust tooling for proper cutting and slicing of materials
- Perform precision measurements using instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Inspect the quality of materials before and after the slitting process
- Assemble and package finished products for shipment or further processing
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate production
- Use hand tools and equipment to assist in the slitting process
- Operate overhead cranes or hoists to move materials as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience operating slitting machinery is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
