Do you want to be part of an exciting project and make history? The Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment is a multi-year, multi-phase project to increase the hospital's capacity, beds and services.
RCH first opened in 1862, is a vital referral centre and regional centre of excellence for trauma, critical care, cardiac care, maternity, neonatal intensive care and neurosurgery. When the full redevelopment is complete, the people of British Columbia will have increased access to cardiac, trauma, mental health, maternity and NICU services and beds.

If so, bring your skills to this key role leading planning, implementation and evaluation of sustainable clinical operations initiatives for the **RCH** **Redevelopment** **Project**. Specifically, provide leadership in project delivery through all project phases: workflow, technical, clinical design, build, training and go-live.
As a **Project** **Leader** you will use your creativity to tackle technical complexities and oversee with various partners.
Your diverse background in project management, interior design, document control, construction contract administration or architecture will prepare you to use your technical and organizational skills in the planning, coordination of documentation and development of the RCH design and construction project.

**Build on your education and career experience as you**:
- Lead tracking of design development and construction, in compliance to contract by liaising with project leaders, clinical leads, project planners, consultants and various user groups for assigned projects;
- Carry out individual project initiatives according to project methodologies to ensure successful and coordinated completion of project components by facilitating consensus with partners;
- Manage the implementation of the project’s document control system and maintain project related documents, records, systems and processes.
- Lead the administration of the various document management, design review and document repository software systems. Provide systems training to team members.
- Provide input in team processes, workflows and problem solving issues as they present.
- Provide input and support to the contractual language changes and interpretation of the various project agreements.
**We would like you to have**:
- Diploma in Architectural and Building Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years' recent related experience managing, and leading with technical background and exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
**An** **equivalent** **combination** **of** **education,** **training** **and** **experience** **is** **acceptable.**
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a strong skill set in document control as you will be responsible for processing and tracking RFI requests, site instructions, submittals, and SOR language changes, as well as have experience with contract change management and compliance.
This is a **Regular Full Time** opportunity located at or adjacent to the **Royal Columbian Hospital **in **New Westminster** BC.
