The Systems team is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting the technology infrastructure. This includes, but not limited to, storage, networking, workstations, cloud, virtualisation and rendering. We invest time into training and mentoring. **Responsibilities**:
The Systems Support Administrator will be part of the Level 1 team. They act as an escalation point for the Systems Support team which is also part of the Level 1 team supporting Canadian studios.
- Escalation support for all incidents and requests using JIRA service desk
- Support of storage requests
- Monitors and maintains a variety of physical and logical systems
- Management of the Licences servers and services
- Support of the Render farm (software)
- Works independently and in teams on administrative and technical projects
- Produce and update documentation using Confluence
- Collaborate with the L2 and L3 teams on various projects

**Essential Skills**:

- Strong experience in a customer facing role.
- Strong self-guided problem solving skills
- Hands-on hardware experience; builds, upgrades, repair.
- Active Directory management
- Basic scripting language (powershell, bash, python)
- A commitment to teamwork
- Proven ability to adapt and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Desirable Skills**:

- Configuration Management (Puppet, Ansible)
- Windows Systems administration and deployment (WDS, SCCM/MDT, WSUS)
- Networking (Layer2, Layer3 including dynamic routing and VPN tunnels)
- VMWare and/or virtual server environment administration
- VOIP Knowledge (PBX, SIP)
- Backup (Netbackup) and storage management
