The Business Algorithms team at Kinaxis creates customized solutions to optimize supply chains. Ever wonder how the hundreds of parts in your new smart phone come together from different suppliers all over the world? Kinaxis solves problems like that every day.
Algorithms is the core component of the product that makes it stand out of the competition. The Algorithms team is a dynamic environment with a challenging blend of innovative strategical development and customer-facing projects. Your passion for quality and efficiency will enable you to lead a team of highly dedicated people who are always eager to improve and deliver. Developing innovative approaches to testing our complex supply chain solution is challenging but rewarding. Your analytical skills obtained from your computer science background will be highly utilized to ensure the delivery of a high-quality supply chain software.
**What you will do**:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performance and growing team of software test developers
- Ensure on-time delivery of a high-quality product in the fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
- Drive the evolution and modernization of our test and automation frameworks and tools
- Ensure a high quality and level of automated test coverage
- Understand and use both internal test data and external real-world data to help achieve test coverage
- Understand product functionality to assess test strategies
- Contribute to initiatives, ideas and feedback when developing new testing methodologies, processes, and tools
- Collaborate with development, Product Management and other Quality teams

- In this role, you will work closely with other QA/PV teams, development teams, and downstream teams to continually improve the experience of deploying and using the RapidResponse platform_.
**What we are looking for**:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering /master’s in computer science or equivalent
- 10+ years solid track record in software test development environment
- 5+ years in a leadership role building and running QA teams/functions
- A dynamic leader with excellent communication skills, initiative, and collaborative spirit
- Proven experience in working on customer-facing projects
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience working on automated code-level testing of backend components
- Proven record of developing an innovative approach to testing methodologies
- Experience in transitioning a team towards new testing technologies
- Ability to provide mentorship and coaching to the QA team
- Automated test experience, including unit test frameworks such as NUnit is an asset
- Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD and release pipelines is an asset
- Experience in testing/delivering SaaS products and supply chain domain is a definite asset
- Database and SQL knowledge is an asset
