Taekwondo Instructor

Champs Taekwondo has been in business in Barrie for 20 years. We offer a full after-school program, evening program for ages 4 and up, camps, as well as a High-Performance Competitive Program.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role located in Barrie, ON for a Master of Taekwondo at Champs Taekwondo Inc. The Master of Taekwondo will be responsible for teaching and instructing students of all ages, fitness levels, and experiences on all aspects of Taekwondo including techniques, forms, and patterns. They will also be responsible for planning and conducting classes, evaluating student progress, and promoting the sport of Taekwondo to the wider community.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of Taekwondo experience and hold at least a 4th-degree black belt or higher
- Certification by Taekwondo Canada or World Taekwondo Federation or equivalent (Kukkiwon Black Belt)
- Demonstrated ability to teach and instruct students of all ages and experiences
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of injury prevention and treatment related to Taekwondo
- Experience in competition and/or participation in Taekwondo seminars and training camps is an asset
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
