Spec Furniture Inc. is a Toronto-based contract furniture manufacturer conveniently located near the major roadways of Highways 427 & 401.

We've been in business since 1991. Spec Furniture Inc. has been manufacturing quality seating and tables for our customers all over North America. In our facility in Etobicoke, our SpecTacular employees produce high-quality public seating and tables for customers in a variety of settings:

- Healthcare - You'll find our furniture in just about every hospital or clinic in the GTA
- Education - You'll see our furniture in lecture halls, meeting spaces, cafeterias in colleges and universities
- Business - We manufacture some amazing high-end corporate furniture

Spec’s Marketing Team is searching for a **Temporary Marketing Associate**. In this **contract role** (**approximately 12 months**), you’re responsible for supporting the successful implementation of the marketing plan by providing internal customer and external customer support. The focus is on service to Spec’s independent sales representatives. An immediate response to external sales reps and customers are a key priority. Your key outcomes include in the following:
**Strategy Support**

Work closely with sales & product development teams to develop content required for selling support (ex. Project spotlights, presentations, advertisements).

**Content Creation (Graphics & Copy)**

Write creative content stories for multiple platforms, resulting in an omni-channel marketing presence. Create new written content and imagery for web and print media. Consistently develop new content to effectively support in-field selling activities. Work with third-party vendors to create new marketing content.

**Project and Administrative Support**

Complete tasks that support marketing projects in a timely fashion. Ensure customers and reps have the required brochures and samples. Manage on-site showroom and help with on-site meetings and providing general assistance to ensure a successful on-site event. Manage content across different marketing platforms and tools.

**Advertising & Partnerships**

Work alongside the Marketing Manager to support advertisement space and partnership programs throughout the year. Design & submit advertisements based on content strategy. Manage relationship with digital library partners.

**Website Optimization**

Manage Google Ads & SEO to drive traffic to Spec website. Manage Google analytics to ensure an optimized website experience. Provide consistent reporting to Spec leadership on website success.

**Experience and Knowledge Required**:

- Post-Secondary degree in Marketing preferred; Communications or related Business diploma or certificate, an asset.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a designated marketing function.
- Proficient in Design Software (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign), MS Office.
- Demonstrated experience with digital marketing.
- Strong creativity and technical writing skills; able to generate innovative ideas and produce high-quality content.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills coupled with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
