**Position Overview**:
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Health Records Processing/Transcription, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the CLERK TYPIST III is responsible for: sorting out all late reports; placing them in terminal digit order and filing in appropriate charts; and performing other related duties as assigned.

**Experience**:

- Six (6) months experience in the Health Records department of a hospital or
- One (1) year related clerical experience

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Grade XII or recognized equivalent

**Certification/Licensure/Registration**:
Not applicable.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Keyboarding Speed: 45 w.p.m.
- Ability to work in a Windows operating environment
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Legible handwriting
