The Manager, Store & Retail Systems leads a team of Application Engineers who design and create Enterprise solutions, bridging the gap between technology and our business partners. As Manager, you will hold expert system and industry knowledge in the retail space and help guide business decisions related to Technology and process management. You must demonstrate advanced knowledge and ability to understand requirements and implement solutions that align with best practices in customer experience, UI/UX design, point of sale, and retail operations. You are responsible for the execution of all aspects of requirements delivery, this includes planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, functional design, deployment, and evaluation. Additionally, you recruit, coach and mentor a team of experts that are considered true business partners throughout the organization.

**_ What You'll Do:_**
- Lead and manage a group of Application Engineers that build and maintains technology platforms for all functional areas related to store operations and retail systems.
- Design and improve software, aligned with the strategic direction of the organization.
- Work as a bridge between business partners and engineering teams.
- Solve and recommend solutions for complex scenarios and issues within an agile or waterfall project structure.
- Provide guidance and input to sequencing within the technology roadmap.
- Lead the creation and review of all technical documentation.
- Create and manage production deployment plans.
- Interact with the user community to solve problems, augment system functionality, and improve the user experience.
- Develop test cased scenarios for QA and UAT.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

Let's Talk About You:_**
- 5+ years’ experience as a technology lead, implementing retail solutions.
- 3+ years’ experience managing a team and leading the design efforts for complex projects.
- University Degree in relevant discipline such as Business, Information Technology, Management, or Information Systems, or equivalent of experience.
- Experience working with agile/scrum methodologies.
- 5+ years experience in D365 Commerce and certification is required.
- Retail certification is preferred.
