**Systems Analyst, Intermediate**

**Performance Expectations**:

- System Analysis and Evaluation:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Analyze existing systems, processes, and data flows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate potential technology solutions and recommend the best-fit options.
- AI Integration Assessment:

- Evaluate AI and ML technologies and their suitability for specific projects.
- User Persona and Behavior Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth user persona and behavior analysis to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of our end-users.
- Use data-driven insights to inform system design and enhancement decisions.
- System Design and Development:

- Design system specifications and develop detailed system requirements.
- Collaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure the successful implementation of new systems or enhancements.
- Create system prototypes and mock-ups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Data Management:

- Design and develop data models and schemas to support reporting and analytics.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Develop and execute test plans to verify system functionality and ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Documentation:

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and workflows.
- Provide user training and support documentation for new system implementations.
- Project Management:

- Plan, coordinate, and manage projects related to system enhancements and implementations.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project completion.

**Credentials**:

- Post secondary degree or diploma or in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent education and experience.
- 3-5 years experience in a Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in system analysis, design, and development methodologies.
- Proficiency in user persona and behavior analysis techniques.
- Strong knowledge of database management and data modeling.
- Experience with project management and tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
