**A LIFELONG SOCIETY PROVIDING AL’S SUPPORT**

**RESIDENTIAL/COMMUNITY** **SUPPORT WORKER**

Our Society has an opening for employment, to support a male adult. He resides in his own home and has a Microboard and committed team to care for his individual needs. The position requires a person with patience that will respect both the individual and the team that currently support him. The applicant should possess common sense and be able to respond to situations calmly & with dignity, using the supports that are currently in place. The individual’s request is for someone who has a good sense of humor, is physically active, and has knowledge of his community. He enjoys being part of his home and participates, with our support for continued independence. He has a wide range of interests, particularly music & art.

You must have a Criminal Record Review, reliable vehicle, drivers’ abstract, business insurance, CPR-First Aid, TB Test & Covid-19 Vaccine. We require education and/or experience that will support his personal care needs & manage behaviors with empathy; you must be positive and pro-active. Specialized training is provided to the successful applicant with continuing support.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 39 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.08 per hour
