**Superintendent (Marine)**
**The Vessel Superintendent will be responsible for but not limited to the following**:
- Lead, plan and organize in your area of responsibility in accordance and compliance with statutory, regulatory and classification society requirements, while adhering to company policies and commercial commitments.
- Monitor the execution of the planned maintenance programs on board the vessels through review of routine ship's reports.
- Work closely with other ATL departments to develop vessel crew to maximize their potential
- Lead Health and Safety for area of responsibility, including participating in Accident/Incident Investigations, etc.
- Work with vessels to create and manage budgets.
- Manage requisition process for completeness and accuracy of information and authorize issuance of Purchase Orders within the given approval limits.
- Utilize synergies with equipment suppliers and service providers to effectively achieve overall cost reductions throughout the fleet;
- Work closely with key customer contacts to coordinate and communicate progress on key technical projects and issues;
**Qualifications include**:
- 5 years' experience in an Operational leadership position is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and priorities, well organized and comfortable working with data;
- Ability to positively influence others by developing cooperative networks and building strong partnerships at all levels, both internally and externally;
- Demonstrates strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Possess a high commitment to customer service and safe working practices;
