This course teaches how the Internet of Things IoT works. Students learn about IoTnetworks and how things connect to networks, including whether the connection and processing is local (fog computing), is on the network edge (edge computing), or is remote (cloud computing). In addition, students learn IoT data networks, connection
types, layer models and IoT network protocols and standards.
