**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Preparing real estate transactions for closing, with a particular emphasis on residential, commercial and private mortgages;
- Experience with the registration of subdivisions and condominiums and associated new home/condo sales would be an asset;
- Ordering title and off-title searches, corporate searches and municipal reports when deals are firm;
- Ordering payout statements on sale & mortgage files;
- Finalizing reports - to clients and financial institutions;
- Following up on undertakings and outstanding items on files;
- Detailed file organization - paper and electronic filing;
- Maintaining an effective BF system;
- Strong knowledge of Unity, Teraview, and LawyerDoneDeal;
- Drafting correspondence, preparing accounts, depositing cash receipts, paying invoices, collection of accounts receivable;

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial real estate transaction experience
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent knowledge of Teraview and the requirements of Teraview with respect to title and Unity matters
- College diploma or university degree in related field an asset
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite

**Working Conditions**
- The functions of this role requires an assigned back up. Vacation time will need to be set in accordance with your back up.
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work overtime if requested
- Working within a professional office setting
