Qualifications:
- Preferred but not mandatory to have a MLA diploma from a college with an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant
program. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is an asset
Duties may include the following:
- Venous, capillary and special collections including neonatal/pediatric collections, difficult draws
- Prioritize work or create the proper response to Stat, Urgent and Routine requests
- Dispatch samples to the laboratory, TDG training required
- Storing of supplies
- Assist in the orientation/training of new staff or students
- Any other assigned duties
Salary Range: $29.950 to 34.130
