Mississauga, Canada Maplewood Design Build Full time

Busy Deck, fence, and commercial contractor looking for a young apprentice to join the team. Looking for a hardworking individual. Days are 10-11 hours long. If you work hard you will learn new skills.

Pay will be adjusted as skill and responsibilities increase.

Starting wage is $200 per day.

**Tasks**:

- Assist carpenters in various tasks such as fabricating, assembling, and installing structures and fixtures.
- Learn and gain experience in drywall installation, construction painting, flooring installation, siding, door hanging, and other carpentry-related tasks.
- Assist in the restoration and repair of existing structures.
- Prepare materials and tools for carpentry projects.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience or training in carpentry is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Note: This position is an apprenticeship role, providing an opportunity for individuals to learn and develop their skills under the guidance of experienced carpenters.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
