**Role & Responsibilities**:
As a **Service Advisor**, you will be the main point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the service department and that customers have a positive, stress-free experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and assess their service needs, listening carefully to their concerns.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar to ensure efficiency.
- Provide accurate cost estimates for services and repairs.
- Explain the nature of repairs, services, and maintenance required in a clear and friendly manner.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure repairs are done accurately and on time.
- Communicate updates to customers, including any additional repairs or service recommendations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain service records and assist with invoicing and payment processing.
- Promote McLaughlin GM’s full range of services and encourage repeat business.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Customer Service Experience**: You have a passion for delivering excellent service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- **Automotive Knowledge**: While not required, experience in the automotive industry, or a good understanding of vehicle maintenance and repairs, is highly desirable.
- **Team Player**: You thrive in a team environment and are willing to collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
- **Organized & Detail-Oriented**: You are able to handle multiple tasks at once, keep track of service requests, and stay on top of appointments and deadlines.
- **Positive Attitude**: You bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to every interaction.
