**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager of the Women’s Perioperative Program, the Anesthesia Technician provides technical assistance to the Anesthetists pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively with equipment and supplies required for each procedure.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensuring equipment and supplies are functional prior to each anesthetic procedure, maintaining adequate supplies, drugs and equipment in the women’s and Birth Unit’s operating room, and providing technical assistance for anesthesia equipment and supplies.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday; 6:30 am - 2:30 pm/7:00 am - 3:00 pm/7:30 am - 3:30 pm/8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

**Your Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or G.E.D required
- Successful completion of a recognized one-year training program in Anesthesia Technology required
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant perioperative experience required
- Understands and demonstrates a commitment to Family Centred Care and workplace diversity
- Able to maintain confidentiality in patient, family and employee information
- Maintains high ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail
- Demonstrates collaboration and cooperative decision-making when working with a team
- Competencies in other languages an asset
