**Position Overview**:
As a Merchandising Manager at Suzanne's, you will collaborate closely with the Buying department to curate captivating visual displays tailored to specific store concepts and collections. This pivotal role involves leading a small team, overseeing training initiatives, and guiding the Operations team in executing visual directives effectively. The position requires a blend of remote work and in-store presence to ensure consistent and exceptional visual merchandising standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Buying department to develop and execute visually compelling displays aligned with store concepts and product collections.
- Prepare detailed visual plans and presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools to effectively communicate visual directives to store teams.
- Lead and mentor a small team, providing guidance and training to ensure effective execution of visual directives.
- Maintain high standards of visual presentation across all stores, regularly assessing and improving display strategies.
- Develop and implement guidelines for visual merchandising, ensuring consistency in brand representation.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to propose innovative and engaging display concepts.
- Work closely with store teams to educate on visual merchandising techniques and standards.
- Partner with store managers to understand local customer preferences and tailor displays accordingly.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure seamless execution of visual plans and displays.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing the impact of visual merchandising strategies and present findings directly to the Director of Purchasing and CEO.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a visual merchandising role within the retail industry.
- Strong proficiency in creating visual plans and presentations using PowerPoint or similar software.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, design principles, and brand presentation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team effectively.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to work across departments and with store teams.
- Proficiency in remote work tools and the flexibility to work remotely and in-store as needed.
- A creative eye for detail and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual displays.
- Proven track record in driving sales through effective visual merchandising strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Design, or a related field (preferred).
