pH7 is seeking a skilled and adaptable Machine Operator to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment to work out of the production facility in New Westminster. As a Machine Operator with us, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment that undergoes frequent process changes based on input variables. Your role will involve understanding and interpreting the process requirements, making data-driven decisions, and utilizing chemicals to ensure optimal production outcomes. Additionally, you will be accountable for accurately reporting progress and maintaining a safe work environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Machine Operation: Operate and monitor specialized machinery, for efficient production. Familiarize yourself with various machine settings and configurations required for different input parameters.
- Dynamic Process Management: Adapt to changing production requirements and adjust machine settings accordingly. Work closely with the engineering and production teams to understand process alterations based on input data.
- Chemical Handling: Safely handle and use chemicals as required in the production process to prevent accidents and maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality throughout the production process. Conduct regular inspections and perform necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine machinery maintenance and Report issues promptly.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical problems and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime.
- Progress Reporting: Maintain accurate production data, machine settings, and any incidents that occur during the shift and generate detailed reports.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols rigorously. Participate actively in safety meetings and ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensuring a clean and organized work environment is a top priority

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. A technical diploma can be an asset.
- Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting, preferably with exposure to dynamic processes is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and use data effectively.
- Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and safety precautions. Familiarity with PPE function and usage.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused with a commitment to producing high-standard output.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects (up to 15 KG).
- Elevated work platform certificate, valid Forklift certificate is an asset.
- WHMIS training an asset.
- Comfortable working in noisy and and sometimes confined spaces
- Background check will be required
