Welcome to Fresh 1 Market We’re a family-owned corner store/grocery store that brings fresh produce and delicious, hard-to-find snacks to the Queen West community. We also have a popular outdoor garden center filled with flowers and plants.

We are looking for a full time or part time grocery store clerk/cashier/stocker.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional service and engage with customers.
- Communicate and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Receive, prepare, store, and stock products.
- Operate a POS and handle cash responsibly.
- Maintain a neat, well groomed personal appearance.
- Report to the store manager and perform other duties as directed.

**Knowledge & Skill Requirements**
- _**This is a physically intensive job -- **_Stand, walk, reach, bend, twist, pull, push, and carry/lift 50lbs in hot and cold environments (fridges, freezers, outdoor garden center).
- Customer service skills and clear communication.
- Organization and time management.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Follow written and oral instructions.
- _Asset: interest/passion/knowledge in plant care or gardening._
- _Asset: experience in grocery, food, garden centers, or retail._
- _**Strong Asset: fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Tagalog preferred.**_
