**Ivy Restaurant (Coach House Creamery) Lansdowne** is seeking several individuals either Part-Time or Full-Time Seasonal to join our team.

Ice cream/gelato “scoopers” will greet customers, maintain dairy inventory, collect payments, suggest flavors, answer to client questions, adher to health and safety guidelines, and maintain a clean work area.

Staff will provide samples to customers, serve ice cream and/or gelato and prepare other food items as required. As an ice cream / gelato “scooper” you must learn all the flavors offered and be able to tell customers about the ingredients, scoop ice cream into cones and cups etc.

You will work closely with the owners of the restaurant / coach house creamery team.

**Experience**:

- Interest in food - baking, cooking etc.;
- Must be easygoing and have good communication skills.
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation is an asset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serving high-quality ice cream/ gelato flavors to customers
- Assist in producing homemade icecream / gelato bases, and inclusions such as hot fudge, caramel sauces etc.
- Ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed
- Ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Assisting with other tasks as needed

**Requirements**:

- Interest in ice cream /gelato
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Easy going, friendly attitude
- Lansdowne (1000 Island / Gananoque area) must have car or able to secure a ride to work
- Seasonal accommodation is available on site.

**Job Types**: Part-time or Full-time Seasonal

**Salary**: $16.00 plus tips

**Start Date**: Mid - May (#1) and Mid -June (#2)

**Language Requirement**:

- French not required but is an asset.

**Schedule**:
Note: 2-3 individuals will be required per shift.
- 6-8 hour shifts available
- Shifts available Monday to Sunday
- Morning shift - 7:00 am - 1 pm.
- Afternoon shift - 1 pm - 9 pm
- Flexible Hours - Can work 5 days a week, or just weekends or just 2 or 3 days a week
