Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
- Read and interpret design drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Detailed daily construction reporting.
- Completion of testing forms and confirmation of compliance.
- Review and acceptance of Contractor progress claims.
- Review and commentary of proposed change orders.
- Liaison with Materials Testing Firm.
- Recommend corrective actions and improvements based on inspection results.
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of construction inspection techniques and practices, Particularly NL Municipal Master Specifications.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting specifications and design drawings.
- Ability to measure quantities for payment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
