We are presently seeking energetic, highly motivated individuals to fill our Registration Clerk position.

**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the office manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support. The position requires a high level of professionalism, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure in a high volume clinical practice. The incumbent will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including but not limited to; physicians, nurses and ophthalmic technicians to provide high quality care to all patients.

**KEY RESPONSBILITIES**
- Providing secretarial support relating to patient care. Duties include but are not limited to: telephone reception, booking appointments, responding/directing patient queries, and patient registration.
- Perform data entry into spreadsheets including but not limited to Excel and basic statistical analyses.
- Process and forward incoming and outgoing mail.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the operational requirements.

**SKILLS**
- Ability to work supportively and collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative as required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines for patient information.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to deal effectively with conflicting demands and stressful situations while maintaining enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Excellent judgment and problem solving skills.
- Experience working with Patient Support Programs and bilingual (French) are considered assets.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of a two-year post-secondary program in office administration.
- Experience with EMR software an asset
- Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
