Intlvac is currently seeking an **Accounting Analyst** to support our finance and administrative team reporting to the President.

We are looking for aa Accounting Analyst to manage the day-to-day accounting, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with doing the complete accounting cycle to financial statements and a flair for spotting mistakes.

You will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, financial results, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.

**Responsibilities** will include but are not limited to the following:

- Preparing budget and forecasts
- Processing tax payments both in Canada and United States
- Manage all accounting transactions for our Canadian and USA companies
- Publish financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Monthly bank reconciliations in multiple currencies
- Accounts payable and receivable functions, working and directing the persons doing these tasks.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Analyze data by developing spreadsheet report to support business decision-making.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.

**Qualifications & Capabilities**
- The first and most important capability is to be detailed oriented.
- BAcc or BComm in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Five (5) years relevant experience
- Additional certification (some type of CPA or CA designation)
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises.
- Advanced computer skills in accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks), Microsoft Excel & Word, and using our current ERP systems
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong ability to multi-task and a “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work well independently as well as under supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
- A quick-learner with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistently organized, great attention to detail and a multitasker.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
